Lakeside documents insects, animals and plants seen and observed in the Midwest region of the United States. Seeds and leaves are carefully illustrated within a spider’s web recalling the interdependencies of species forming a web of life of the local habitat. This accordian-style journal contains sights and textures of the grasslands surrounding a lake, revealing the abundance of life within a thriving ecosystem.
