Reflections is a series of paintings on yupo paper that contains pooling effects on each page in both the material and subject matter. Scenes of trees are painted in a leaf-filled pond, where the textures of contents in the pond are intermixed with reflections of the trees above. This series references the tree as a whole as well as a deconstructed form, where fragments and pieces of it are intermixed from views up close and afar.
