Self-Organization, 2018

Self-Organization depicts slime mold which is a self-regulating organism that can live freely as single cells but also aggregate together to form multicellular reproductive structures. It’s complex growth structure imitates the ways information and ideas spread through replication and expansion. The text that makes up the slime mold pattern is a compilation of quotes collected by dozens of individuals who completed surveys addressing the positive and negative impacts of connectivity in their own lives
